8/3/07-  Hallelujah.!!!  Finally the trusses are going up. This is about 1/2 of the 195 configurations. The top goes up another 8 ft above what you see here.

YEAH!  We have finally reached the top, which is 29' from the tip to the floor.  I know, I know, a lot of wasted space up there. Tammy can have more storage space.  The plan is to put foam insulation in the floor joists above the ceiling to avoid heat and cold loss.

8/10/07. Making some headway now, or so it seems.  The roof is now being covered quickly, to both tie the trusses together and also prevent them from warping in the 90-100+ heat.

If Tammy is not happy with this Pantry, its too late now.  This is looking throught the kitchen to the Pantry & Refrig area and off to the right side will be the Breakfast nook.

10/02/07 - Sides and front being prepared for the rock to be installed 4FT up.  Stucco will be above that.  Dirt filler will be filled up to the silver vents at the bottom.  Sewer was installed today. Starting to get exciting.

Tammy in her new kitchen getting ready to make me dinner.  YEAH RIGHT!!!  The foam insulation will be installed next week, we hope.  Xmas is looking better.

"THE VIEW FROM THE TOP" Probably the most expensive photo I have ever taken. The crane lifted me up to the top@ $@@@/ per hour. This is looking at Mt Spokane, about 15-20 miles away.  Sorry So. Cal, I know you can't see that far.

Finally after almost a freakin month we are getting some shingles on the roof.  This after having to replace some of the plywood, from defective material from the Manuf.  Anyhow we are back in the groove with the roof.

The roof is on.  Now we can work inside. Electrical is mostly in. The Heating/AC is in, as well as the plumbing prelim work.  Windows, plumbing fixtures, 2 whirlpool tubs, garage doors, appliances all ordered.

This is the rock Tammy picked out and I am glad she did.  I had picked out a different one that had more red in it.  This actually looks great.  Should look awesome when finished.

Foam insulation; Wonderful, fantastic, unbelievable.  Goes on like paint then expands 3-8 inches depending on speed of installer. Then is shaved off for use elsewhere. We are putting it on all outside walls, above all ceilings and below (under) the floor.  Supposed to be the best you can get.  We'll see.
