Norway House was a "ski house" in St.
Sauveur. It was acquired in the early 1970's by a group of ski guys
who were regulars hanging out in the area. It had formerly been a
rooming house. This guys
converted it into a "ski shack" to be used as a "home base" for ski
weekends. Through the 70's, Norway House "touched" many people,
including myself. It was a fun place to be and hang out with a great
group of fun loving people!
Jack Carswell, one of original owners,
attended the Norway House Reunion in 2007. For the reunion, Jack
assembled these photos into a book which was signed by the attendees and
given to our hosts, Patti & Craig Parsons.
Those of us who attended the reunion got to
share in stories surrounding some of these pictures. I hope others who
somehow were a part of Norway House see these pictures and have a happy trip
down memory lane. We did!
If you recognize yourself in any of the
photos, and want to add a caption, feel free to use the contact information
on this site and send the data. I'll be happy to add to the enjoyment
of the site. |
